Comments:     On a fools chase for the Rusty Blackbird, which, as agreed by a couple of other birders, was like looking for a needle in a constantly moving haystack.  I took two 15 minute shots at scanning the blackbird/starling hoards and spent most of the time driving the local roads.
29 species (+3 other taxa)

Cackling/Canada Goose  X     multiple flocks encountered comprised of mainly Ridgeway’s.
swan sp.  6     Had one group of six on the wing that sounded like Trumpeters but they never landed.  They circled a couple of times like they were going to land but never did.  I got off a number of very badly focused shots and looking at them, evidence leans toward Trumpeters but inconclusive.  No yellow can be found on any of the bills and the eyes are not prominently differentiated from the lores.  But again, the images are pretty bad.
